Caught on video: Hollywood business owner tackles man who punched, robbed pizzeria customer

A Hollywood Business owner jumped into motion when a customer on the pizzeria subsequent door was punched and robbed of his pockets.

The dramatic scene went down earlier this month in entrance of Rafallo’s Pizza on La Brea in Hollywood, the place residents and employees say crime is getting uncontrolled.

A man had walked as much as a customer sitting at a desk outdoors the pizzeria, then punched the customer and walked off along with his pockets. He was adopted by Tim Ratcliff, who owns Shin, a restaurant subsequent to the pizzeria.

“When you see somebody get assaulted, I can’t tell you the feeling I have inside. It upsets me to have it happen,” he stated.

Video exhibits Ratcliff tackling the suspect and the pockets flying into the road. Ratcliff rolled with the suspect right into a crosswalk, and finally getting on high of him and holding him down till police arrived. 

City officers have authorised funding so as to add about 200 extra patrol officers to Help cut back crime, and locals like Ratcliff are hopeful that it’ll make Hollywood a secure, enticing vacation spot for guests.

“We’re in Hollywood, you have this beautiful place, the number one place in the world for a destination for a tourist, and then all this crime is happening,” he stated. 

As for the customer, he was okay and did get his pockets and mobile phone again.
