ISO27018 is a standard that establishes objectives for protecting personally identifiable information (PII) in government agencies and gives privacy-specific guidelines to organizations acting as privacy data processors and controllers to improve information security by assessing risks. Crypto.com’s Privacy Information Management System (PIMS), Information Security Management System (ISMS), and Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) are audited at least annually by third-party certification bodies to ensure continued compliance with multiple ISO standards. Crypto.com, the first virtual asset platform to receive ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) and ISO 27701 (Privacy Information Management System) certificates in 2019 and 2020, respectively, and ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management) and ISO 22301 (Business Continuity Management) in 2021.
