Hollywood Star Tom Hardy wins his second Jiu-Jitsu event of year


The Venom star made a shock look on the 2022 BJJ Open and entered the event underneath his actual title, Edward Hardy.

Hollywood actor Tom Hardy has bagged his second Jiu-Jitsu title this year after profitable the gold medal on the 2022 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open in  Milton Keynes, England  on September 17. The 45-year-old actor is known for his roles in Venom, Inception, Peaky Blinders amongst others.

The Venom star made a shock look on the 2022 BJJ Open and  entered the event underneath his actual title, Edward Hardy. One of the event organizers stated, “It was a real pleasure to have him compete at our event.”

Tom Hardy, who’s well-known for his motion roles in Batman: The Dark Knight Rises, Bronson, Mad Max: Fury Road amongst others, participated within the males’s class of 41-and-older as a high-level blue-belt fighter on the  2022 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship.

Earlier in August, Hardy defeated a 40-year-old fighter named Danny Appleton to  win the REORG Open Jiu-Jitsu Championship in Wolverhampton, a contest for elevating funds for army personnel, veterans and emergency service staff.

After the combat Appleton drew comparability between Hardy and his iconic character of Bane from the film, ‘The Dark Knight Rises‘ and instructed The Northern Echo, “He’s just a top guy–he’s very strong which surprised me and a very good fighter. But he’s probably the toughest competitor I’ve had — he certainly lived up to his Bane character, that’s for sure.”
