Iggy Azalea has slammed rumors she made $300,000 after launching an OnlyFans (OF) account – but what is the singer’s estimated net worth in 2023?
The Australian rapper has been making headlines after she joined the subscription site for a collaborative project.
But the rapper has been embroiled in false rumors that she made a huge amount on the first day of her OF debut. Let’s take a look at her net worth.
Iggy Azalea’s estimated net worth in 2023
Celebrity Net Worth estimates Iggy Azalea has a net worth of $15 million (£12 million) as of 2023.
The 32-year-old Australian rapper and songwriter, born Amethyst Amelia Kelly in Sydney, moved to the US at the age of 16 to pursue a music career.
She signed to Jefe Wine-O Wine’s independent record label, which released her songs on iTunes. At the time, Iggy also uploaded cover videos on YouTube.
It was the release of 2013 single Work and her 2014 hit with Charli XCX, entitled Fancy, that made her a big name in the music industry.
The latter peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 and was named Billboard’s song of the summer in 2014. Fancy was the most-streamed song on Spotify in 2014.
To date, Iggy has sold 50 million albums and 22 million singles around the world.
Singer denies $300k OF earnings
Public interest in Iggy’s net worth sparked after she slammed false reports that she had made $300,000 on the first day of her OnlyFans launch.
The singer made headlines last week when she announced the launch of her account on the social media platform.
Iggy slammed the reports and tweeted: “Lol, y’all just be saying s*** to say s*** at this point cause that number was pulled outta thin air.”
In a follow-up post, she added: “I won’t share what I make on OF, in the same way I didn’t share what I earned selling my music catalog. Amounts being reported don’t come from a valid source. Thanks to everyone supporting me.”
Iggy’s Hotter Than Hell project
Iggy’s profile on the popular social media platform coincided with the release of her partnership with website Hotter Than Hell.
“I’ve been working on Hotter Than Hell for six months already and I’m full of excitement and nervous anticipation to begin revealing it to the world, layer by layer,” she said in a statement.
Iggy’s year-long business venture will see the release of new music, illustrations and images on the platform and is due to end in December 2023. The Australian rapper is currently working on her fourth studio album.
