North Hollywood man arrested for abusing his 14-month-old son who suffered head and brain injuries, LAPD says

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A man was arrested in North Hollywood Tuesday for allegedly abusing his 14-month-old son and leaving him with everlasting head and brain accidents.

Los Angeles police say the kid was taken to a hospital March 22 and underwent emergency surgical procedure because of the alleged abuse.

A prolonged investigation later recognized the kid’s organic father, Cesar Daniel Cabrera, 21, as a suspect within the case, based on LAPD. Police say Cabrera admitted to abusing the kid when he was questioned.

LAPD says the boy suffered everlasting head and brain accidents.

Cabrera was arrested Tuesday and booked at Van Nuys Jail.

An LAPD captain tweeted pictures of the man being taken into custody outdoors the household’s North Hollywood house.

Cabrera posted bond Wednesday and is scheduled to look in court docket Sept. 13.

The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office filed costs of assault on a baby leading to paralysis and little one abuse leading to nice bodily damage.
